Modem sound card problem

Im running xp pro, my modem will work but when its working my sound card doesnt work and vise-versa. Tks Chad

You´re a lucky man.
I can´t find any xp driver for my modem and soundcard.
When i use the windows 2000 driver the modem seems to work but it can not open the COM PORT.
I guest there´s a port or IRQ conflict.
You should take a look to your ports configuration.
