CPU/Ram: AMD1200 , 256

I just installed XP , and Im having a weird connection Problem , Its running way slow. Im sending more than I am receiving , right now ... Sent 1,138,133 , Received 240,946 . And I know its not my ISP cause I have 3 different ISPs and it does the same thing with all , I even switched modems , and the compression isnt working either , even though its on ... Im confused

Check the windows XP intergrated Firewall in not enabled, this can play havoc with your connection speed. U can do this by going to your network/connection settings, and right click then go to properties on the desired connection, then click the security tab and uncheck firewall settings.
