Specs: WinXP, P4

Hello Friends!

I have .mkv files and currently, my system doesn't have any player/program to play these files.

What program or decoder do I have to download to play these file?

Thank you very much!

Be nice. It isn't rocket science, but matroska playback can be problematic--especially since the h264 codec started becoming more popular.

I don't like codec packs. I don't use them. That said, here's a minimal pack that will install Zoom Player and set your machine up for avi/ogm/mkv playback with multiple audio/subtitle streams, blah blah blah. It also uninstalls cleanly.

CCCP.

Hi tropic,

Good info.

But I though the CCCP went bust in '91.

Thank you EveryonE,

I'm going to try those players/codec and I hope they'll run my .mkv files fine.

Anymore suggestions?

Thank you!
