I dont know anything about computers, but i was wondering if any one could help me. .
I have windows xp on an Emachine i started getting this blue screen,, i researched on the internet,, ppl call it the blue screen of death. it says something abotu dumping physical files. and it kept doing that every day a few times a day. so i started to do a system restore and in the first 10 mins of that the computer shut down. well when i tried to restart it it just keeps saying windows cannot start up because it cant find a file and to reinstall windows32.exe
i even tried to start a new system recovery and to do it with the restore cd the computer came with but it just keeps saysing that same message over adn over. if anyone has any ideas of any thing i can do to fix this i would really appreciate it

The windows32.exe is an infection.
Your problem with trying to do a recovery from the CD might be caused because you do not have the CD drive as first in the boot process.
To do that watch the screen when you power up the PC. You should see a line on one of the first screens to hit a certain key(s) to enter the bios 'setup' program. Hit the correct key(s) and when you are in the setup program find the option to make the CD drive first in line. Then retry the recovery cD.

I agree with aegis, window32.exe is a Trojan infection.
I forget, but I will assume eMachines are defaulted to bring up their "logo splash", which may well obscure what key(s) to hit in order to get into the BIOS Setup (Esc may dismiss the logo screen just long enough to read it). That would be helpful.
Can you get into Safe Mode? Do you know how? Hitting the F8 key repeatedly right after you hear the "Post Beep", well before you see Windows try to boot up should bring up a Boot Menu, which includes Safe Mode (1st menu option).
The window32.exe message should not appear (we hope) when booting into Safe Mode. From there, you have several options/methods to clean up your system and bring "regular" Windows back to life. We can detail what these options are after you get back to us on the BIOS and Safe Mode questions.
BTW, it is likely that in restoring from the original CD, you will lose all of your data (documents, music files, emails, etc.).
