Missing Unknown DLL file

Microsoft Microsoft windows xp home edit...

Specs: Windows XP
I had a malware problem and I used AVG and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to remove several items. Now, frequently, I get a message that states that certain EXE files cannot start because it's missing "mshogbo.dll". So, for example if I run Powerpoint it will tell me that powerpoint.exe can run because mshogbo.dll is missing. Same with iexplore.exe and several others. Any ideas?

I might also mention that Googling mshogbo.dll turns up no results, leading me to believe that the problem is lingering due to the malware that I removed.

You can use Process Explorer and Process Monitor to see exactly where powerpoint is looking for that file, and if it is calling any other files around the same time. From there, you may have a better idea of what the file was related to.

You could also probably do a system restore, as that may fix it.

Nothing shows up in a Web Search for mshogbo.dll.

Likely that DLL file is only related to the Malware you removed.
