Hi,
Ok i've connected my Laptop with my Desktop PC thru a LAN connection.
Anyway the problem is that i am unable to share the Disk Drives i.e. c:,d:,e:
There is just no option of sharing available when i Right-Click on either of these drives....But i can share any folder inside these Drives without any prblem, the sharing option is available on files and folders, but not on the Drives themselves.
Just want to share the whole desktop pc,thats all.
Thanks in Advance.
Ps:I got admin privileges ofcourse....:)

0. Double-click My Computer, and also double-click (open) the drive you'll like to share, click Tool from the menu bar. Select Folder Options, and click the View tab.
1. Scroll down to the bottom of the list of Advanced Settings and checkmark the Use simple file sharing & Click OK.
2. Open My computer, right-click the drive, select Properties & see if you now have the "Sharing" tab.
3. If you still cannot the sharing tab, go to the security tab and select your logon name under Groups and user names. If you can not find it, then select Everyone & make sure that Deny is not selected next to read. If it is, select Allow and click OK to close the window.

You can only share folders as an Admin user. You should at almost all times be logged on as a limited user. Go to the admin account and try as above.
