Missing Rundll32 Error

I cannot access the control panel options due to missing rundll32.exe file.
Please provide me with a solution to this since I my Windows CD got damaged.

What happened immediately preceding this problem? What happens if you boot to Safe Mode? Have you tried running System Restore?

Found this off Annoyances.org:


Go to the following link and download this copy of RUNDLL32.EXE:
http://home.bendcable.com/CooperSof...

Go to the location you downloaded the file, right-click it and select COPY.

Next select Start/Run, type C:\WINDOWS in the 'Open' box and press enter.

Now right-click in the Windows folder that opened and select PASTE.

If prompted to overwrite the file, answer 'Y'....YES.
