Missing Open and Edit

I used to have "Open" and "Edit" by right clicking but now both had gone missing, this is after I updated my windows! I tried tweaking the registry but doesn't work at all! Any ideas?

You can try open with and associate the filetypes with notepad(dat and txt) or word (doc).
You can also do this from folder options.Goodluck

I did that but still it doesn't work! Oh Well... Probably I reformat and reinstall all over again soon. Just done that on Oct. 3rd! Thanks anyway Sabertooth! :o)
