missing in registry

September 7, 2008 at 18:35:00
Specs: XPpro, 512

I am using CCleaner in XPpro and when I scan the registry I am receiving this:

Missing TypeLib Reference IOutlookPlug - {4A3451BE-99E0-476C-AE7F-C2A5671AC22E} HKCR\Interface\{A9CC9305-0A30-4015-92A0-0711EE24E720}

I have removed this twice from CCleaner, but it still shows up when I run the scan. Is there any way that I can get this missing typelib reference?

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank You

There have been several issues concerning this plug-in within outlook (express). Some think it is from the Norton/symantic suite program. others think it is related to a plug-in from using firefox.

It has been reported to Cclean it from within safemode without any undue effects.

Thanks for your help lurkswithin.

In my case it must be an issue with norton/symantec since I don't use firefox.

I ran ccleaner in safemode and removed it. Before I removed it I did a backup. When I removed it I saved a copy to my desktop, but once I returned out of safemode it was not there. Don't know where it went, but I guess running it in safemode removed it since it no longer shows up in ccleaner?

Thanks again for your help.
