Hi,
Last night I loaded a Logitech Quick Cam Pro 3000 camera. I have since uninstalled and deleted all remains of the camera.
Here is my problem, although not sure if camera had anything to do with it. I have cable and access my aol mail thru IE. When I sign in for mail I have to type in a http://... address. My problem is I do not have that space to type in the address anymore. Its gone. I tried to restore my system 4 times going back as far as Jan 2. Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone know what I need to do to fix it?
One more thing IE is not listed in add/remove programs. I was going to try and repair IE thru there but it is not in there.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanking you in advance,

Nanette

Before you do anything drastic, open an IE window, right-click next to one of those Crayola-looking icons (Search, Favorites, etc.), and check "Address Bar" on the pop-up menu.

Hi Tropic,
I right click on the address button and everything (standard, address, links, norton, lock toolbars and go button) has a checkmark in front of it.
Any suggestions?

thanx

Hello Nanette.

I had it happen to me once...actually some stupid pop-ups did it to me once.

Try going to View, then Toolbars, and uncheck "Lock the Toolbars." From there, trying moving things around in the toolbar section. Mine ended up being stuck way in the right hand corner near the IE logo and the links. If it's up there, just drag it back to where it belongs.

HI,
Thank you Bryan. I got the problem fixed. I had the address button at the top was unable to see the space and the go button. I clicked (by accident...lol) on the address button and Wahlaaa it all appeared. I really do not know what happened to make it disappear. Im glad its back and that it was nothing major.

Thanx to all that looked and read this and to those that offered help.

Nanette

LOL.

Yeah...it's funny how those silly toolbars make their way all over the screen. As long as you got it back, that's the good thing. Glad to hear you found it. =)
