I have a folder that I periodically use that contains many files. When I recently wanted to view the folder I could not find it. I carried out a search on both the folder and file names; and strings that were contain in the files. Failing that I installed a data recovery disk but again no joy. I can only assume that the last time I was backing up to CD that I moved the folder instead of copying them across. Further to this problem I have noticed that the CD does not contain any files that I previous backup so I therefore cannot retrieve my missing folder from CD. Help would be much appreciated.
Suejoe, SWAG, sounds to me like you accidentally deleted it rather than moving. Gut says you're SOL, but sorta a 'shot in the dark'. What if you 'restore' to a time prior to the last backup? Does it appear? HTH. Ed in Texas.
