margaretbrown, Go to the link below and under the letter "T" scroll down to "Toolbar - Missing" and download the "Toolbar Repair Utility" then run it. It should fix your missing Menu Bar which is the top most bar you described as missing.. http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_... Tufenuf

Summary: OK, I got rid of the bookmarks toolbar by right clicking where the buttons are and removing the check next to bookmarks toolbar. I still can't get the buttons to move up to the file, edit, View, too...
