Issue : Missing EAP Type = Protected EAP (PEAP)

Problem : Unable to connect to the corporate WAN because (I think) EAP Type = Protected EAP (PEAP) is missing. My EAP Type is blank with nothing in the dropdown (others get the option PEAP and Smart Card or other Certificate).

Screen : Wireless Network Connection Properties > Properties > Authentication > EAP Type.

Observation : Rest of my colleagues have EAP Type = Protected EAP (PEAP) and ()'Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network' checked.

How do I get back my EAP Type I had before? I've checked all startup services with laptops that have it - mine matches theirs.

Please help. I'm not being able to connect to the Wireless at home and office ...

Network Authentication = WPA2
Data Encryption = AES
with checked 'The key is provided for me automatically'.

Any help will be a lotta help!

PS : I'm using Windows to configure my Wireless Internet connection ... disabled Intel Pro/Wireless.
