Comment:

All of my drives - hard Disk and network shares - are missing the labels. For example, I have several drives mapped. All I see is J: K: L: N:. As to my hard Drive, All I see is C:...In the past, I saw a label like [w2ksrc on 'ccntsrc' (L:)]. Can anyone help me with what I need to do in order to bring the labels back? Thanks.

Goto My Computer or Window Explorer.
Right click on the drive
Select Properties
Enter in a name save or apply.

Do this to each drive.
