Missing .dll during installation

While clean-installing installing xp, the file 'esent97.dll' couldn't be read from the cd. I installed anyway, but now the damn thing crashes like it's going out of style. I've downloaded the missing file from the fabulous internet, and was wondering how to happily incorporate it into windows. Does anyone know anything?

I had a similar problem while installing XP. As a matter of fact I had anywhere from 2 to 5 files that would not copy during installation. At that point I would stop and start the installation again and then I would get some other different files that wouldn't copy. After probably 10 attempts and no success, I decided that I must have a bad XP disk. Took it back got a new one and had no problems installing XP with the new disk!
