I booted up tonight, and all my icons were gone! the curser was in the middle of my desktop running, but they never showed up. I'm using Win XP Pro Edition. I restarted and they all showed up. Anyone what would cause this? thanks.
dont know the cause, maybe its the iconcache file corrupted?, but with tweakui (part of powertoys) you can repair the icons, also right click on a empty space on desktop > Arrange icons by > make sure theres a check mark on show desktop icons, hope this helps.
