Missing Admin Account

When I open User Accounts, the only accounts listed are User1(w/admin priveleges), User2, and Guest. Logged on as User1, when I try to create an account named Administrator, I get a message that it already exists. Where could it be or where has it gone?

When you login as Safe Mode, the Administrator account will appeared. Administrator account is usually used for diagnosing problems. User1(w/admin priveleges) means that this is also an administrator account, so there is no need to login into the hidden one.

Booted into Safe Mode and logged on as User1. Only the same 3 accounts appeared - no Administrator account. Still wondering where it went.

If User1 is the very first account you created, it may be the Adm account anyway.

That's what I thought but - when Administrator is renamed, a new non-admin Administrator can then be created (presumably with no priveleges). Then hackers can beat on it all day and get nowhere. But when I try to create Administrator, it tells me it already exists. Could this be an anomoly not found in previous NT releases?
