Hi,
I have several problems, I hope someone can help me with.

First, I cannot use System Restore. On the error box on the blue line it says Rstrui.exe Entry point not found...in the error box is says...The procedure entry point RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be located in the dynamic link library WINSTA.dll

Second, I have a Rundll32.exe error...is there anyway to get this dll back?

Thirdly, When I boot up I get an error (on the desktop) required DevCon32.dll error. However in checking today in device manager i realized I do not have any audio devices on my puter. Can I reinstall Sound Blaster Live to get this file back?
I followed the advice Dave02 gave me on other problems, but have since gotten new ones. I have ran every system check available on my computer, reinstalled windows, adjusted my BIOS, ran checks with PC Pitstop and trend micro.
I know dll's are important and so are the exe files. I would like to know how and if possible where do I go to get these files?

Thanking you in advance,
Nanette

I have 1 more problem..... I installed AOL 9.0 then deleted it. I went to reinstall it again using the CD as well as the shortcut on my desktop and it keeps stopping at 94%. Could the fact that I dont have audio drivers installed on my puter be the problem? I have contacted AOL with this problem and cannot get any help from them. Everyone I have talked to there has me do the same thing. Any help would be appreciated on this matter too

thanx again,
nanette

To solve the System Restore prob (hopefully), put your Xp CD in the drive, goto the RUN box in Start menu and type:

rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\Windows\Inf\sr.inf

and hit Enter.

Good luck.

PS. There is a space between Section and C:

Let me know how you went with that, then we'll look at the other problems, no point in confusing ourselves :)
