I am sorry to write so much since I am not sure if all this information is nessary.

For months I had a word 2002 update window at start up. I would just cancel since didnt want to do it. I found my word 2002 disk, and tried to update it. It wasnt sucuessful. So was going to uninstall it, but tried modify from add/delete window and that fixed word 2002. Now at start up I get a "windows update wizard" window.. but inside the window is bunch of gibberish. "sink started at" 2005/06/03 " repeated about 30 times with different dates and times in there but its all around june of 2005. I cant find a way to get rid of this update wizard. I tried mircosoft and Dell they are no help. I have tried alot of pc scans, reg scans, virus scans, window updates. None find any errors.

Thanks for any help.

Go into msconfig and nuke the wizard from there or go into the registry to remove the wizard....(see below)
