The systemroot\Minidump folder is the system crash dump file location. This folder contains a small set of useful information generated whenever a system stops unexpectedly. THIS article tells you how to read the logs.

Common Language Runtime Minidump Tool (Mscordmp.exe) creates a file containing information that is useful for analyzing system problems in the runtime. 00401E94 is a process identification number involved in whatever problem that occurred and the log is saved as a file in MiniDump Folder.
Instead of discussing this gobbledygook that might be of interest for advanced troubleshooters, for the sake of the thousands looking for an answer to their day today computer problem, the best starting point would be an actaul Computerr symptom [defined as any thing experienced from the system during normal computing (On or Off line) that adversely affected the performance of Computer task and appeared unusual]. In the above case what led Linsy to check the Mini Dump folder may be more significant for the readers than a question that gives a very incomprehensible jargon as an answer like I have done. Remember, such things, discussed in isolation without any background information or observed by chance and not by careful analysis would be just the tip of the problem iceberg and will raise lot more questions for the majority than it answered.

Thank you for your help. I will download the Debugging tools.

I was cleaning my computer of unwanted programs and folders. I noticed the Mini Dump folder in C:\... which I didn't create. I didn't know if I should delete this folder in C:\... This is why I asked about the Mini dump.

I have 2 Mini Dump folders. One is in C:\... drive and the other is in Windows folder.
The Mini Dump in C:\... has a notepad icon with this number 06122329010468 and when I click to open notepad icon there is this number 00402E94. This is dated June 12, 2005.

The one in Windows folder Mini Dump folder has this file with number 061804-01.dmp dated in June 18, 2004. This folder I would never delete unless told to do so.
