Here is the exact error message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Program: C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe
abnormal program termination

I get this error only when I open the pictures folder in "My Docments" folder. When I click OK, it closes that window and my taskbar disappears for a few seconds. I can't save anything in that folder from any program I run.

Anyone know what it is and how to fix it?

Thanks,

xayide2

Try resetting your folder options to 'icon' rather than thumbnail.

If you can start a command prompt and go to the directory in question and 'delete desktop.ini'
