I'm getting what seemes to be a common error: "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error ... Abnormal Program Termination" the only difference is this error occurs with several programs (worms3d, doom3, any program I've compiled with MSVC++ V6, and several others) Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? I've tried almost every solution I can think of, including reinstalling the MS Visual C++ Runtime Libraries and A few I've seen on various web posts... HELP PLEASE!

I'd like a solution to the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error problem myself. Mine happens after I connect to the Net using Earthlink.
Earthlink claims it's a Microsoft software issue. And, of course, Microsoft maintains it's an Earthlink software issue. :-|
The warning is given at random and doesn't affect the box's performance. But like a bad penny, it keeps coming back. One of life's annoying little mysteries.
