hello everyone,

i was looking at my add/remove software window and i noticed there is MICROSOFT SILVERLIGHT which as far as i know makes it possible to see flash content on web and things like this.

my question is, silverlight talkes 4GB of my partition, can i uninstall it ? or will i loose all my browsing capabilities...like seeing flash and all that ?

thanks in advance

Tiago

Higgs, I do not have silverlight on my computer and I have no problems going to any of the sights that I normally go. I don't know for sure if it is a necessary addition or not. Wait for more replies.

Where are you coming up with 4GB? My SilverLight folder takes up 3.08MB

Silverlight is optional. I haven't installed it and I have no problems with Flash.
