Comment:

Win Xp User. I recently upgraded from Office 2000 to Office Xp .
But now when i use Microsoft Photo Editor to view my pictures(jpeg images) i have noticed that the pictures are much reduced in their size, most of the buttons are missing like view slide show etc , and earlier i had to press only "Enter" to view the rest of the pics in a folder but now i have to click on each file (pic) separately to view them.
Please help me rectify this problem

I would uninstall Photo Editor and try a reinstallation to see if it works properly. If reinstalling does not fix the problem, I would then uninstall XP Office and go back to Office 2000. You could also get a new Photo Editor that will work with XP. Another example of, if a computer is working do not change anything, leave it alone.

As I'm sure you already know, you can make the picture larger or smaller by using the mouse scroll button. Or you can change it in the zoom control window. I don't know how you can make it open by default to a larger picture, and I never heard of being able to make a slide show using MPE. Are you sure we're talking about the same program, or do I just have a really old version?

With all due respect to capt's suggestions, is it really worth uninstalling the whole OS??

P.S. How's Penelope?

salgof, who suggested uninstalling the os? I admit that if I had Photo Editor and Office 2000 working great, I would not have spent the money for Office XP. I fail to see what that has to do with the XP Operating System itself.
