Microsoft Patch Does Not Work

For those Internet Explorer users who have not heard, the Microsoft patch for problems related to Object Data tags does NOT work. See:

Additionally, there is a test you can use to determine if your PC is vulnerable:

Until Microsoft gets its act together, I'm using Mozilla Firebird; it's immune to the Internet Explorer problem, and is faster than IE.

Just thought I'd pass along the information, since everyone at Computing.net has always been helpful to me in the past.

Interesting....I have dso stop & hta stop installed from grc.com which is supposed to protect against those attacks....still vulnerable.
