Hi all, my microphone is working and the volumn sound is up as high as it can go under V C, I am using my laptop for keroke at home just a bit of fun and would like to get the mic louder. I can turn up the sound but this also increases the sound of the music. Is there any way I can get the mic a bit louder. Any software or other applications that anyone knows of. Any help is appreciated. Kaz

double click on the volume icon in the system tray.then click options, properties, recording,ok. now, in recording control, make sure advanced properties is enabled in the options menu, then choose advanced button. there you will find microphone boost.
