Is the Mic un-muted in Windows Volume Control. If Microphone is not displayed in V.C., then click Options, then Properties, check mark the Mic box to get it displayed.

What is with all the typing in all caps? You are the third one in the last ten minutes.

Do you have HD sound? If so, you may need to open the HD audio manager and instruct it to use that port for the mic.
