messenger sound problems

hey guys, i just installed the new msn beta, i wasnt a fan, so i done a system restore to get back to my old msn 7.5 anyways, now my sounds arent working. Like when i recieve a messege or someone signs in??? when i go to check my sounds under tools i get a messege that says, windows cannot find the file c:program files/msnmessenger/ring.wav etc etc for each sound i was using before. i can change them to different sounds, but i've grown accustom to the ones i've been using for years. why can windows not find these files anymore????? and how do i get them back???

download msn messenger 7.5 again save it some where then uninstall messenger then install again.

for somereason i can no longer download a copy of msn 7.5 i get an error that says i have to visit the msn website to download the newest version. The problem seems to be im missing my old wav files????? could this be because of a windows update?
