Hello,

I'm trying to connect to my mothers Toshiba Laptop. Both our computers are running XP Home. I understand that Remote Desktop only works in XP Pro.

Therefore, I am trying to Remote Assist through MSN Messenger.

THE PROBLEM:

I have installed the latest additions of Windows Messenger Live on both computers however every time I try to request remote assistnace it gives me an error message saying that I do not have the latest edition installed and to intall it.

Anyone know why it would be giving me this error.

My mothers laptop is using wireless.

Can anyone help?

I might try VNC instead....??

Thanks,

Jay
