is there any way of stopping the annoying popups without disabling the messenger service, as i still want to use the net send command. thanks

Hello..

The way I stop popus is by using the KillPOPup.exe..

This can be found
http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/3000-2381-7903554.html?tag=pop

Although I am not 100% sure is this will disable your net send..give it a go, you can uninstall if this does not work.
