Messenger killing net

I just recently downloaded zonealarm and the net worked fine until I denied messenger access to the net, now whenever I try to access the net unless I let messenger online I can't use the internet??? what is the deal??

Hi, This does not solve your problem but I would dissable messenger on start up and leave it off untill you are ready to use it, fact is if you are denying it access to the net it mite aswell not be running anyway.BTW which messenger servise specificaly are you refering to MSN, Yahoo? Oz
