I have a 160gig Hard Drive, I had two partitions 80/80 I recently Merged Them back into 1 Hard Drive, When i merged them it moved all the files from 1 partion of the 2 to a folder that i chose named "stuff" on the partition after merging. Well I moved my files from the stuff folder (the one pmagic created consisting of the files from the 2nd partion), I tried to delete it and come to find out partion magic put System Volume Information and Recycler In the folder it created. So i cant delete that empty folder.
I tried booting into safe mode, still wont delete it. I tried deleting it from the cprompt, still no luck. Is thier anyway i can delete this folder.

You need to turn off system restore in order to do it.
Right click my computer/properties/system restore.Check, turn off system restore. I would then do a disk cleanup to remove the files so they don't report as shared or in use by another program, and then you should be able to delete them.
Start/programs/accessories/system tools/disk cleanup.

I tried all of that and it still wont let me delete the folder
WHen i try to delete F:\stuff it says

Cannot Delete System Volume Information:Acess Is Denied

Take into consideration that this is a slave drive my C: drive is on my 30gig hard drive,

This slave drive F: was split into two partions
1. F:80gb
2. H:80gb

I merged F: and H: Together And Created one full 160gb(acually its 152gb) Partition

The Files that were on H were moved to a folder Named Stuff On F: after merging
This folder contained documents, wallpaper and such. Well after i merged them two partitions I moved all the documents and wallpaper to another destination.
I then went about Deleted F:\stuff
Which it would not let me saying system volume information cannot be deleted
I have now tried turning of syste restore and running disk cleanup and im still getting the same error

WHen i try to delete it from the Command Prompt I type Del F:\stuff
It asks if im Sure Type Y/N? i typed Y
It then went back to the main directory as if it deleted the folder
i check the drive and its still there

Go download a bootdisk. Boot in DOS mode and delete the folder using the erase command, then rmdir=remove directory (folder name).

u say it also put the Recycler folder on there? then in addition to turning off sys restore, you need to deactiveaate the recyle bin, then reboot, and try to delete it then before turning back on the bin and sys restore.
As it is a slave, you'd prob be better booting off the XP cd and reformatting it from there. Also, you could have used Disk Management to blend those partitoons together, and not bothered with third party software. (lets not forget Windows does NOT like third party software!!)lol
