A+ is not the way to go:D get into networking..... i have no idea man i have over 1GB of ram and xp see's it all:D

it all depends on how much memory your motherboard supports. That is the limitation here,.... not windows xp

I was trying to find out how much memory is neede to run XP or XP Pro.

Also I will be takinga combination of A+/networking within a month.

Thanks everyone, heard it was 256 mb minimum for XP, let me know.

I ran XP on 128 good, but I've upgraded to 512 and there is no comparison

hello: j hodges called it correct, plus all i see is 512 mb sticks being manufactured . i reccommend
xpee with a single 512 stick (if your m/b supports 512 per slot) or (2) 256 sticks,
also a + is a good goal but it is only the beginning for studying everday 365 days ayear for the rest of your life if you want to be a tech.
