CPU/Ram: Pentium 4 3.0ghz

Is there anything on the internet for checking the speed of my memory (i.e. 333mhz, 400 mhz) without having to open the base unit and pysically look at the memory chip

120gb Hard Drive

Try Everest - install & it'll give you all info about your system. Memory speed comes under Motherboard/memory section. Unfortunately it will only give you the settings your system is running at so you could be running 400 at 333 & AFAIK the only way to check that is physically.

Get CPU-Z utility from here:

http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

It will read the SPD on your memory chips, telling you manufacturer, part #, size, rated speed, etc..


Rule #1 Good computers don't go down.
