Whenever i get onto the windows XP logon screen i get the error "The instruction at 0x000000 requested memory at 0x0000000 the memory could not be "read"" (the memory address changes each time i try to log on) on blue bar uptop it says "application error at winlogon.exe". Ive tried both a warm and cold reboot with little sucess and even tried to set the CMOS back to its original settings. I havent installed anything new since the last reboot and i have and up to date virus scan if that helps. Any ideas on how to fix this?
