Media player Vs LimeWire!

Hi guys just a question that is more of a curoisty than a problem. When im downloading programs via Limewire and try to play a windows media player 10 video at the same time I only get the sound but when I close Limewire the same file on windows media player works fine!

Hi Rich, I was gonna say that you've probably got too little memory but 2gb seems ample...
Maybe you should consider restricting the amount of users downloading shareable files from your limewire session....

are you trying to play the SAME file you are currently downloading? or a different one? has the file already been downloaded and you just right click it and choose open within limewire?

Hi guys
Noi im not trying to play the same file at all in fact some media player files are over a year old! It quite odd really I can play some of the files over the DIVX player but not windows media and yes I have uninstalled and reinstaled the program.....very odd

Hi Rich, Although you've reinstalled the program do you still have a large quantity of shareable files ?.
If so have you toggled the options within limewire that restricts the amount of users able to download files from your pc or are you running with the default limewire config..?

I dont have anyfiles being shared mate! and if I do they are not being downloaded at the time! I know its a strange one but im stumped!
