The Window Media PLayer 8 does not play cd like it used to with sound. It does not play all my cd with the format type .cda, .wma and so on. Is there anything to do with missing drivers or what?
I have checked the window audio setting and it seems to be unmute all.

Have you checked the audio connection from your CD-Rom to the motherboard ?
