I reformatted my computer, and updated to Windows Media Player 10. The icons for all of my video and music files are the same ones as the Windows Media Player that came with XP. How do I get the newer looking icons back?

Go to My Music. Choose one of the files with the Media Player 9 icon and right click. Choose Open With. On the next screen be sure Windows Media Player is selected and then tick the box at the bottom to Always use this program to open this kind of file. Click OK. All of your music should show the icon for Media Player 10.

Hope this helps.
