This may seem like a strange one, but every time I plu a USB Key/Flash Drive into my laptop whilst running Windows Media Player, WMP pops up in front of all my other apps and gives me the option to sync with the drive and attempt to find any audio files.

Is there any way to disable this in the same manner as you can disable CD autostart, 'cause it'd driving me nuts? I've Googled it but had no luck.

Thanks

When you insert your usb drive, choose the manual option and this turns off auto Sync so media player should only sync when you tell it to.
