Media player 9 - not full screen?

I have Windows Media player series 9 installed and it will not show a complete fullscreen - a blank banner appears above the video and the control section (start/stop/etc) is below it -- which is normal except when you 'hide' the control panel -- the 'pin' in fullscreen to autohide does not work???? it worked when I installed it, but it just stopped yesterday -- no changes have been made... any suggestions?
Summary: If this still fails, I would remove media player 9 from add/remove programs and then run windows update and install full version of WM9. this will then resolve your issues. ...

Summary: For yourself, media player 9 is VERY resource hungry. Do you run it in full screen mode. This sometimes frees up extra resource from background programs. But otherwise, probably best to rely on your a...
