My wmp9 crashes when I try to watch DVD or any other video file? How can I uninstall wmp9 without restore point?

Sorry... you don't until WMP9 Beta without a restore point... if you'd read the fine print during the install telling you to make a restore point you'd know that.

As stated you cannot uninstall without a restore point. This is a BETA . Hopefully the Final Release , whever that is will be virtually bug free.
However in the meantime Realplayer gives you almost the same functions as WMP

You can reinstall XP over itself to get rid of 9 and restore 8. It does wipe out your Windows Updates though, so you then need to reinstall them or Service Pack 1.This site has the How To:

Try download the fresh wm9. (version: 2800 or above) or wait a few days, the final version coming soon... (30 on sept.)

Before the wm install, you must uninstall nimo codec pack and other codec tools (ace, vobsub, etc.)
After the wm install you can reinstall again the codecs. (vobsub version must be 2.18 or greather)
