We recently reinstalled the Operating Systems from scratch. Now Media Player won't play DVDs. It says a decoder is missing and the links to the missing decoder is no longer a freely downloadable item as in the past. Where can I down load the missing items I need to get Media Player 11 to work??

I dont use Media Player anymore since using VLC. it seems to have codecs for any file type I "throw" at it. yep...VLC is the way to go.

I got Real Player and Media Player to work by installing the PowerDVD software that came with the computer. I am installing VLC on the Kubuntu/Linux side of the computer though
