A while ago I reassigned my Scroll Lock key to the Play/Pause command for use with iTunes which has worked fine up until now. I had to reinstall Windows Media Player due to corruption, but now whenever I press Scroll Lock as well as pausing iTunes it launches WMP. (It used to play/pause WMP too, but never launch it if it wasn't already running.)

Any ideas how to stop WMP from being launched?

Martyn999, "A while ago I reassigned my Scroll Lock key to the Play/Pause command for use with iTunes". Strikes me that when you did the reinstall of the player, you killed the flag that said it was running and now it plays instead. Change back the reassignment and do it again?

I sorted it a different way now, simply turned WMP off as the default player for 'Audio CD'. Weird how that does it, seeing as I'm not even using a cd.
