So I have a Hauppauge WinTV PVR-500 tv tuner currently in my PC. I am running Windows XP Media Center 2005. Hauppauge is not very user-friendly (especially when it comes to installing the drivers) as I am having several issues that I greatly need help with:

1. The TV Guide in Media Center has the wrong time zone and I don't know how to fix it so it accurately displays the tv programs in my time zone.

2. When I do happen to record the show I want I notice that when I fast forward anywhere in the program the playback will stop all together.

I have updated my 8800 GTS with the latest drivers as well.

Thanks you very much to whomever helps me
