I installed the 43.xx drivers for my Nvidia GeForce card and they didn't work too well (my monitor turned itself off as it went into XP) so I went into safe mode and i removed them, then put my old 30.82 drivers back (which worked fine before)
Now I have no end of problems (not even related to graphics!) Firstly, Zone Alarm has lost all of my settings, including such things as which programs are and aren't allowed to access the internet. Also, 'Open in new window' in IE doesn't work at all - it shows the new browser window on the screen but nothing appears in them and then I have to close it. Finally XP seems to be slightly slower now.
I don't know how trying a graphics driver and then reverting to the old one could have such an affect. Anyone have any ideas on this?
Thanks!
Alex

Sorry I don't know how to help you, but a lesson can be learned here... don't upgrade drivers unless there is a need to.
