This is for Tommyo who first raised the issue and all others who have been experiencing problems with updating McAfee programs, internet security or AV. I also have had the same problem since Sat. I find I cannot even open the McAfee web page. It is the only internet site that I find I cannot access. I finally got frustrated and accessed their help/support page via McAfee forums(Google search) and called their $2.95/min support. The technician told me that they have had a lot of calls reporting this and they are working on a fix, no date. Like many experiencing this issue I also have Comcast but this may not have anything to do with it. If they do not get this fixed soon I will be forced to uninstall and select an alternate internet security program.

Dropped McAfee 3 years ago and have used free AVG since and for me it works just as good.

Thank you so much, DJD!!! That is certainly good news to hear. At least they are aware if it...

I have not been able to connect to ANY McAfee site, so I can't even get in touch with their tech support. I'm glad to see you were able to contact them, as I've looked everywhere on how to contact them.

One good thing anyways is that I'm protected with the latest DAT files, as I was able to update fine late last week. My anti virus is up and running fine; it's just a pain in the butt on not being able to connect to the updates or any other McAfee site.

Thanks again DJD; if I should get any info I will post it here on this thread, as this one is the most current one. Take care my friend; let's hope this is resolved quickly!!

All appears to be OK here in the UK with McAfee web sites. I have just visited there support site OK. Just out of interest try This Hyperlink

It should download the latest SuperDAT file. Although IE may block it depending on settings in your browser. Obviously you don't have to download the file, just a test to see if you can connect

Hi Phil.... yes, all appears to be fixed here in Massachusetts too. I just tried it and all appears well. Should be interesting to see if we recieve the automatic updates.

Man, let's hope this is finally fixed!!
