Hi.. I'm trying to configure a win xp machine to upgrade its McAfee VirusScan software from a shared folder on the network. The network has a really slow internet connection, so I thought the best thing to do was pull the SDAT down, and let everyone take it from there. Fine for older PCs using 4.5.1, but the XP machine is looking for SiteStat.xml, and won't see the .exe file I've downloaded. Is there a way around this? The only thing I can think of at the moment is to put the path to the .exe file into the "executable to be run after update is completed" section. Even if I do this, however, it prompts for user input, ideally I'd like to bypass that, you can't trust users!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

You could use the /silent switch for quiet install (no user input required).

I tried that, but it wouldn't see the silent switch. Just said that it couldn't find a file of that name.
