I have this annoying pop up it reads like this(Some McAfee Security Center Componets might not have been installed or launched properly. Restart your computer to fix this. If this message appears again after restart, please reinstall McAfee Security Center). What started this was when I removed MaCafee from my programs and installed Avast and then did a system restore because I was loosing my internet connect, then reinstalled Avast again and now getting this pop up I just can't delete(tried to delete every way I knew how C Drive and all other files just can't delete. Any help would be greatful.

Go to mcafee.com and click on support and then how to remove their program. It is simple if done correctly according to their directions.

I'd bet my shirt that you have remnants of McAfee remaining in your registry and the pop-up is telling you that some McAfee components are missing or corrupted.
I'd suggest a thorough scan and removal of the left over bits of McAfee. You should have done that before the install of Avast....

I just want to thank you guys for the helpful tips in removing that popup I was having. A ? for clammer, the scan and removal of the left over bit how is that done because I have bits of another program haunting me. Thanks
