Why are you trying fdisk? Windows XP is not designed to be used with fdisk. If you already have XP installed on another drive in the system use the Disk Management utility. If this is a new install on a single drive, you can boot from the XP install CD (slipstream at least SP1 into the install CD first) and during the install partition and format the drive.
To take advantage of the full capacity of the drive (without installing drive overlay software ie: maxblast) you need at least SP1 for XP and a controller that supports 48-bit LBA. Does your IDE controller support 48-bit LBA? If not you will not be able to take advantage of the full 200gig, you will only get 137/120gig.

In addition to all that was stated in reply #2 if your MBoard does not support 48 bit LBA and you use this disk anyway, you risk data loss or corruption. If you had posted your system spec as per posting instructions we would have a better chance at knowing if this is a problem for you. If it is you may be able to update the BIOS on the MBoard to address this issue. Check in the BIOS and POST screens to see if the full amount or drive space is showing and if the drive is identified by model.
