Comment:

When I open files from an icon (like a Word document in Explorer or desktop shortcut) how do I get them to open as full screen (maximized)? I keep getting a little 4 inch X 3 inch window. When I stretch the Word window to make bigger (or maximize) it is OK until I reboot, then it goes back to the small window again.

BTW, if I start the program first (for example Word), then open the file, the window is ALWAYS maximized.

ekseks, right click the icon (e.g."Word Document"),
click "Properties", in the "Run:" option select what
you would like to be your default, then click "OK".

You also need to have a proper shutdown (Start, Turn off computer, Turn off) in order for Windows to save your settings.
